Skylight in Brookline, MA

Challenge After years of wear and a lifetime dealing with rain, snow, and wind; this skylight in Brookline, Ma developed a leak in it's foundation bringing water through the ceiling and into the home. The foundation surrounding the original skylight was improperly designed with an unnecessary ledge (termination bar) extending on each side creating the possiblity for water pockets to develop.  Solution By removing the ledge, (termination bar) and running rubber up the side of the foundation, we were able to eliminate the possibilty of water pockets developingn. This renovation in Brookline, Ma will direct water down the roof and prevent any further leaks or damage from weather and/or age.
