Historic Shingle Roof Repair in Boston, MA

GF Sprague Roofing replaced the asphalt shingles on this Boston home. In addition to the shingles, the project also included masonry work on the chimneys and flashing.

A tarp covers the half the roof while ice & water shield if applied to the rest, helping prevent water leakage and ice dams. The job has neared completion, as final touch-ups are being made to the main roof while the lower roof has already been ice & water shielded. The roof can be seen before the project begins, with a focus on the shingles and chimneys which are being worked on. A tarp is set up overhanging the roof, this ensures that any debris falls safely to the ground and does not damage the home. The old wood is removed and replaced to create a strong foundation for the new shingles.
