GF Sprague & The Pan Mass Challenge

The Pan Mass Challenge is an organization which was established in 1980 and has since grown to include over 6,000 cyclists from over 40 states and 8 countries working together to fight cancer. This amazing organization now raises more money than any other athletic fundraising event in the country. The PMC’s efforts generate more than 50% of the Jimmy Fund’s annual revenue, and since the organization’s inception, its riders have contributed $547 million to cancer research.

Cancer is something which unfortunately will affect almost everyone at some point in their lives. Whether it be a family member, friend, or coworker, this disease is more prevalent than it should be. The PMC is aimed at reducing the impact of cancer by contributing to cancer research so one day a cure can be found. What makes this charity particularly special is the fact that since 2007 every single rider-raised dollar has been donated directly to cancer research. Knowing how big of an impact the PMC has on cancer research makes it an easy choice for us to continue our annual donation.
