Bob Scribner with GF Sprague is onsite at a home in Wellesley, MA for a project where GF Sprague is replacing a rubber roof and roof shingles. In part 1 of this video, Bob shares with the viewer the project overview and what lead to the roof leaks and ice dam damage on this home in Wellesley. At this particular home, there are 2 roofs which slope together, with a center roof section between the slopes. The water and snow runoff from the two slopes and builds-up on the center section. The previous roofing contractor did not install the rubber membrane on the center section correctly which lead to the roof leaks.
