This is the first step in creating a strong foundation for the new slates. With the slates removed, our crew now installs the ice & water shield. This will keep the dormer water tight, and it will also prevent ice dams from damaging the roof if they form during the winter. Our crew installs the custom copper work, making sure the slates are cut perfectly to create a water tight seal around the copper. This precision ensures that the dormer is water tight.
