This homeowner called us to look at their slate roof. They were experiencing some significant leaks, especially in and around the valleys. This is something that our team has years of experience with, and our certified expert knew exactly what was needed to solve these slate roof issues.

Solution

The solution to this issue is replacing a lot of the slates on the roof, and installing new ice & water shield underneath them. Our certified expert also decided that copper would be another great solution for this roof. Installing copper along the ridges of the roof was also a way to solve some of the leak issues, as it prevents water from getting in along the edges of the slates.
