Challenge

On this old roof in Waban, Massachusetts, it was time to replace the slate tiles. During our certified inspection of the home, we found that this dormer roof was deteriorating in it’s flashing and structure. It was leaving the home vulnerable to water damage and subsequent structural damage. We determined that the best solution would be to replace the dormer roof.

Solution

During installation, we removed the entire copper roof and began from scratch. We installed brand new carpentry, secured down ice and water shield to add an extra layer in between the home and the elements, installed copper flashing on edges to add additional protection, and finally crafted the copper dormer roof. The result looks gorgeous and ensures that you and your home are safe!
