Challenge

This homeowner in Cambridge, MA noticed the shingles at the top connecting points of their roof looked very worn down and perhaps needed to be replaced. After an inspection by our certified expert, they found that almost all the connecting points had almost worn down and was in danger of letting water into the roof.

Solution

After reviewing all their options the homeowners decided to their shingles at the connecting points with copper plates. These small additions of copper not only created a tighter seal to the rest of the roof to stop any leaks from forming leading to even more issues. It also adds a nice shine to the roof of the home, really helping it stand out on the street. Overall another excellent job by the entire G.F. Sprague team!
