@pacificdrummer71 Don’t be a fool! you do realize insulated wall makes up @3% of you envelope. Loosefills in a 3.5″ cavity outperform open cell. The only insulation that has better R-value in walls is closed cell, ofcourse you are increasing the R-value of 3% of your envelope, not doing much are ya? PLEASE GET SOME RETURN ON INVESTMENT SOFTWARE OR LEARN TO DO A BTU LOAD CALCULATION!!!!!! Your imaginary savings from foam are enough to justify the loony bin. “as little as 2 years” LOL!!! COME ON!

So, fuck YOURSELF out of thousands. Risk not getting enough fresh air and suffering the health effects such as cancer the reason ASHREA REQUIRES fresh air. When the foam falls off your ceiling (the reason explained by Austin Energy for not offering rebates and incentives on foams) License # CAN06347, do me a favor and get educated PERIOD. Foam homes are FAR from the most efficient, so, you spend more, then fuck your environment up more because you cant do a simple manual J!

@pacifi11$/month in savings. CAN YOU NOT READ. 35$/month on mortgage just in interest, or @ 13,000$ in cost over 30 years, to save 7920$? Here is the part where you make yourself look really stupid. For less than the price of foam, you could get more thatn 11$/month in savings. You can actually get double the savings with a similar investment in loosefill. Loosefills arent made of PETROLEUM, is rated for INDOOR AIR QUALITY, is mold resistant, increases the home value MORE than foam, its r-60!
