@pandarichards what team r u on?
I am going to take a stab in the dark and say it was the snow. for EACH square foot of snow its about 13 pounds. There was about 18″ of snow on that roof equally dispersed across the 100ft by 200ft section that collapsed. 20,000 times 13 equals 260,000 pounds for the first 12s of snow and 20,000 times 6.5 equals 130,000 pounds which equals 390,000 pounds or approximately 195 tons of snow on that roof plus the weight of the supports and everything else, Im sure it had some good age to it.
played against south hills in this rink in the three rivers cup tourny last year
These boys were seven and eight years old.

Arch roofs don’t usually collapse. It must had been a foundation problem that accrued first. Lets see if this could have been prevented and if so then wander why they put these kids at risk.
My family was there. My son’s team had just played a championship game. The medal ceremony delayed the start if the next game. There could have been two teams on the ice and a lot of people in the stands 10 minutes before or after it actually happened. Bless the Lord.
